1. Dive In Movies: Disney's Moana
Dive-In Movies at the pool at the Middletown Sports Complex on August 25th. Special Appearance by Moana & Maui.
2. Fishing 101 – A Beginner's Guide to Fishing - Howell
Learn how to rig, bait, cast, and, hopefully, catch your first fish at the Reservoir. Come and go at any time. Bait and tackle provided.
3. History Kids Summer at Allaire Village
Come to Allaire Village and learn what is like to live in 19th century. History Kids Summer is designed for children ages 5-12 years old who want to experience history first hand and learn the different trades, tasks, and lifestyles of an 1830s Howell Iron Works villager. This will be paired with an activity. Parents are encouraged to stay and assist their child in the activities.
4. Drop-In Kayak Tour of Swimming River
Enjoy this naturalist-led kayak tour of the Swimming River. Novice paddlers welcome. All equipment is provided. Both single and tandem kayaks are available for use on a first come, first served basis. Space limited. Wear appropriate clothing that can get wet.
Hear local bands from NJ perform a variety of Bluegrass and Folk music! Multiple stages and jam sessions throughout the day plus artists tables available for vending of music and signings. Tour the Historic Village at Allaire, including the early 18th & 19th century Homes, Craft Shops, Retail Shops and other buildings. Historic demonstrations and activities offered throughout the duration of the event.
