Description
Learn to make website, solve problems, and win prizes! A virtual one-day coding workshop for middle school girls, to inspire the next generation of women scientists. cypHER is a full-day web development workshop run entirely by female high school students and dedicated towards teaching girls in grades 6-8 how to code! Participants will learn HTML, CSS, and/or Javascript fundamentals in the morning, and then apply these skills to create unique websites in the afternoon. Students will meet and learn from female mentors in STEM, hear exciting talks from speakers, and have the opportunity to win exciting prizes for their projects! cypHER 2021, our third annual event, will be held on Saturday, May 8th.
