Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit, non-denominational preschool offering School Year and Summer Camp programs tailored to the interests and learning styles of the children enrolled. We believe that a happy experience outside the home coupled with exposure to a wide range of activities instills a lifelong desire for learning and exploration.
All teachers are certified and have taught young children for an average of 20 years. Becky Martin, Director, focused on Early Childhood Education throughout her 30+ year teaching career. Along with our teachers, each class has an assistant teacher as well, having a maximum adult/student ratio of 1:5 for our 2 1/2 – 3 Year Old Class, 1:6 for our 3-4 Year Old Class, and 1:7 for our Pre-K Class.
We promise a nurturing and supportive environment with encouraged family involvement. Our programs focus on hands-on learning with an emphasis on building social skills and responsibility.
Parent Support Groups
While TFCP cannot offer Parent Support Groups during the COVID pandemic within our school building, our director and other staff members are here for you. We offer family support for families with children ages 6 week to 6 years
If you would like to be part of an online support group or talk with the director about the challenges you are facing at home, please contact TFCP at 848-456-4585 or email email@example.com.
As soon as we are able, we will offer our in-person groups.
Mommy & Me Classes - Wednesday 9:30 to 11 am-Suspended During COVID-19
Mommy & Me is designed to give your child (18 to 30 months) and an important adult an opportunity to play together in a fully equipped play space that offers toys, art activities, song time, and stories. Get messy with your toddler without bringing the mess home!
2 1⁄2 to 3 year old class-Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 to 11:45
3 to 4 year old class-Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:15 am to 12:15 pm
Our preschool teachers introduce the children to a variety of opportunities to learn through exploration and discovery, with a focus on separation and socialization. "Academic learning" is interwoven in the most natural way possible to assure a developmentally appropriate learning environment.
4 to 5 year old Pre-K Class—Monday/Tuesdays/Thursday/Friday from 9 am to 12 pm
While preparing for the beginning of their Elementary School years, we incorporate each child’s different interests and learning styles by working in small groups and encouraging children to work and create on their own.
Early Bird Drop Off-As early as 8 am
Need to drop-off your child earlier than 9 am? Everyday? Just once in a while? TFCP offers this option to our families. Children start the day in a classroom together where they can eat their breakfast they bring or start their day of discovery.
Lunch Bunch & Extended Day— As late as 3 pm
TFCP offers from 1 to 3 hours of afternoon care. Choose either a regular schedule or last-minute drop-off care. Children will eat lunch brought from home, have a rest, play, and have additional time outside.
Summer Camp- 2 to 4 days a week from mid-June to end of July
Camp at the Co-op offers your 3 to 6-year-old an opportunity for fun-in-the-sun days with playtime, crafts, discoveries, and outdoor time that includes daily water play.
