Tinton Falls Cooperative Preschool is a non-profit, non-denominational preschool offering School Year and Summer Camp programs tailored to the interests and learning styles of the children enrolled. We believe that a happy experience outside the home coupled with exposure to a wide range of activities instills a lifelong desire for learning and exploration. All teachers have taught young children for an average of 15+ years. Becky
Martin, Director, focused on Early Childhood Education throughout her 40-year teaching career. Along with our teachers, each class has an assistant teacher and/or a co-oping family member, having a maximum adult/student ratio of 1:5 for our 2 1/2 – 3-Year-Old Class, 1:6 for our 3–4-Year-Old Class, and 1:7 for our Pre-K Class. We promise a nurturing and supportive environment with encouraged family involvement. Our programs focus on hands-on learning with an emphasis on building social skills and responsibility.

Time with My Little One Classes
A special time with you (or an important adult) and your little one! Each class offers every child and their adult time to play and create together. Our classes also give the adults an opportunity to talk about their journey through the Early Childhood Years and share useful ideas and special experiences with each other in a friendly setting.
Time with My Little One Classes include:
Time With My Toddler Class
Wednesday 9:30 to 11 am
Additional classes will be added if needed.
Time with My Toddler (TWMT) is designed to give your child (18 to 30 months) and an important adult an opportunity to play together in a fully equipped play space that offers toys, art activities, song time, and stories. Get messy with your toddler without bringing the mess home!
Wonderful Waddlers
Day/Time TBD
Wonderful Waddlers (WW) class is designed for walking children from 10 to 18 months and is a slightly shorter class than our TWMT class. We will play together, have a snack together and enjoy an added activity each class such as sensory play, messy play, and/or a large motor activity (on our playground if weather permits).

TFCP’s Preschool Classes:
2 1⁄2 to 3-year-old Class
Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 to 11:45
A child’s first experience in preschool can be a welcome time in your child’s life. We also know that it can be a challenge for a child and parent, and we work with each family, finding the best fit for you. Separation, transitioning, and socialization are our focus throughout the year while we bring a rich learning environment with playtime, art, crafts, stories, songs, and outside time to every child.
3 to 4-year-old Class
Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9 am to 12 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12 pm
Our preschool teachers introduce the children to a variety of opportunities to learn through exploration and discovery, with a focus on separation and socialization. "Academic learning" is interwoven in the most natural way possible to assure a developmentally appropriate learning environment.
4 to 5-year-old Pre-K Class
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm
While preparing for the beginning of their Elementary School years, we incorporate each child’s different interests and learning styles by working in small groups and encouraging children to work and create on their own. Reading and math skills are woven throughout each day in a developmentally appropriate learning style that allows for individual growth according to each child’s interests and abilities. Our play-based curriculum is carefully crafted to offer learning opportunities throughout the morning.
4- to 5-year-old Afternoon Pre-K Class
Monday/Wednesday/ Friday from 12 - 3 p.m.
Due to an increase in enrollment and community need, TFCP has opened an Afternoon Pre-K Class!
We offer each child an opportunity to learn through a play based, hands on curriculum which incorporates free play, small groups, and teacher directed activities. Reading and math skills are woven throughout each afternoon in a developmentally appropriate learning style that allows for individual growth according to each child’s interests and abilities. Our afternoon class can be combined with our Pre-K-Enrichment Class for a full 5-afternoon school week.
4 to 5-year-old Fabulous Fridays Pre-K Class
Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm
Our Friday class gives the children an opportunity to decide the themes they would like to study and discover. Our teacher creates the curriculum based on the decision of the students. A great class to add to our other Pre-K classes or for a Home-Schooling Family.
Early Arrival-As early as 8 am
Need to drop-off your child earlier than 9 am? Everyday? Just occasionally?
TFCP offers this option to our families. Children start the day in a classroom together where they can eat breakfast they bring from home or start their day of discovery.
Lunch Bunch & Extended Day- As late as 3 pm
TFCP offers from 1 to 3 hours of afternoon care. Choose either a regular schedule or last-minute drop-off care. Children will eat lunch brought from home, have a rest, play, and have additional time outside.
