HauntOween Offers Spooktacular Family Fun at Bell Works in Holmdel

Immersive Walk Through Experience Brings Halloween to Life through October 31st 2022

By Stacey Jones October 1, 2022

Hauntoween, a fully immersive spooktacular event, has now opened at Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Rd. in Holmdel, New Jersey. Taking place September 30th - October 31st, 2022, Hauntoween is a groundbreaking one-of-a-kind Halloween experience brought to our community by Experiential Supply Co., an innovative experiential productions and attractions company that drives high profile viral destination experiences, and Fever, the global entertainment discovery platform.

Here at Macaroni Kid, we were invited to attend Hauntoween's opening night to bring you the scoop on this exciting new experience available to local families in our community. The experience was festive and got everyone in the Halloween spirit. There were a tremendous amount of photo opportunities with fantastic themed areas executed with great detail throughout the experience. Check out our slideshow at the top of this article for some of our best photos from our time inside Hauntoween. A favorite area of our entire group was the unique pumpkin tunnel. It was fun to watch the lighting change the appearance and score some fantastic pictures while inside the tunnel.

The staff were all very generous with the amount of candy handed out when we went trick-or-treating in the Town of Hauntoween. The detailed decorations of the homes comprising the town were fabulous!

Hauntoween’s concept is one of the first in the country to put the entire holiday on display in one place. Comprised of nine distinctive, immersive worlds, Hauntoween lets guests adventure through the massive grounds at their own pace with thousands of photo ops, live character performers that they can engage and interact with, face painting, a ride, a few games, trick-or-treating, dancing, and more. There is no time limit, so guests are welcome to stay for hours and enjoy all the ghoulish mayhem.

We spent about two hours inside the experience. It is very family-friendly! Many of the immersive activities are definitely tailored to the youngest cohort including bounce houses and a surprise ride in the Fangtastic Fair section. Within the same area are excellent food and drink vendors for the entire family to enjoy. Our crew especially enjoyed the chipwich sandwiches from Jersey Freeze, most especially the new themed offering for Hauntoween, the Apple Cider Donut Chipwich. Yum! There are hay bales and pumpkins throughout the adventure. Before we departed for the evening, we each were able to select a pumpkin to bring home.

Experiential Supply is an award-winning company to which the Hollywood film industry turns when it comes to creating large-scale, immersive experiences for such big budget movies as IT: Chapter 2, Ready Player One, The LEGO Movie, Smallfoot, and more! New Jersey is the first location to begin their national expansion after enjoying two successful seasons in Los Angeles.

“We've worked very hard this year to put on the country's largest and most magical Halloween experience for all ages. Over 200,000 square feet of immersive thematics flooded with interactivity, all built on the foundation of Halloween – trick-or-treating, pumpkins, costumes, and spooky fun,” said Jasen Smith, Experiential Supply Founder & Chief Experience Officer. “We cannot wait to welcome thousands of families in the Southern Cal and New Jersey area this year to our massive creation. Make sure to bring your sweet tooth this year! This is about families having a safe and incredibly fun place to enjoy the holiday and there's just nothing like it.”

Hauntoween tickets start at $40 and can be purchased at this link. Children under two are free.
