Every Sunday, Macaroni Kid Lincroft-Holmdel-Tinton Falls shares local things to do with your kids in our community over the coming week.

1. Huber Woods Park Reptile House 

From slithering snakes to hopping frogs, the Huber Woods Park’s Reptile House is once again teeming with life. Reopened after extensive renovations, the Reptile House invites visitors to see native reptiles and amphibians and learn about their role in our environment. Visitors to the Reptile House can see and learn about a Natural Corn Snake, Northern Pine Snake, Eastern King Snake, Northern Diamondback Terrapins, Spotted Turtles, Fowlers Toads, and Gray Tree Frogs among other creatures. Limited capacity; masks required. Free admission and fun for all ages.

2. iPlay America: Laser Tag, Rides, Arcade, Video Games, Golf + More

Looking for something fun to do with the kids? iPlay America invites you to come in and play all day as the arcade, rides and attractions as well as Topgolf Swing Suite and Game Time Bar & Grill opening daily at 4pm!  Typical daily hours are 4pm-11pm, although special hours are offered on holidays! Weekly Promotions: Wednesdays: Free bonus bundle with ride pass purchase & 1/2 price games; Thursdays: 2X your arcade points; Fridays: Unlimited Rides and Video Games; Every Day: Free unlimited video games with the purchase of a $20 game card. 

3. The Casual Birder at Dorbrook Recreation Area

Join a Park System Naturalist for a laid-back morning bird walk at the Dorbrook Recreation Area. Meet in the soccer field parking area. We’ll meander through the park for about an hour and a half to see what birds we can find. No need to be an expert at identifying birds to enjoy. February 9th at 9am. All ages welcome, but under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Free!

4. Painting Pottery at A Time to Kiln Red Bank

Paint with A Time to Kiln in Red Bank. Stop in from 12-6pm daily on Mondays or Wednesday through Sunday. Last seating to paint is at 5:00pm. Please note: Later seatings accommodated by appointment only so call 732-450-9525 to reserve a time and tell them you saw it on Macaroni Kid. 

5. Twin Lights Historic Lighthouse

The grounds of Twin Lights are open with COVID-19 precautions in place 7 days a week from 9 am - 4:30 pm. Come explore! Please wear a mask and call ahead for information.
