Yestercades in Red Bank is Open for Safe Family Fun in the Arcade

By Stacey Jones August 30, 2020

New Jersey's favorite retro arcade has reopened its doors and can't wait to see all of our guests once again and hopefully some new faces! Located at 80 Broad Street, in the heart of Downtown Red Bank, YESTERcades has been providing families a clean, vintage gaming experience like no other for nearly 10 years. Bring the entire family and relive a memory, or make a new one today!

They have prided themselves on being spotless and sanitary since YESTERcades opened back in 2011 and that has not changed in the age of COVID-19. Currently operating at 25% of the venue’s capacity, YESTERcades has instituted a variety of protection measures to create a safe environment for their guests. They require masks to be worn by all patrons and are strictly enforcing that the masks are worn correctly for the duration of your stay.  Patrons have their temperature checked and are asked to use hand sanitizer on the way in to play.  Various bottles of hand sanitizer are dispersed on site as well for use whenever you feel it is necessary and for use as you exit.

These methods continue to be in place as they were prior to the pandemic: wiping down and sanitizing their screens and arcade panels frequently to ensure they are clean (in today’s environment they wipe them down at least twice an hour) and wiping down high traffic areas after each use whenever possible (air hockey, pool tables, etc.).  For the home gaming stations, they wipe the controllers down with rubbing alcohol after each use and wipe each couch down once they are finished using the station.

YESTERcades is ready to provide each and every patron with a unique gaming experience where they can escape from the troubles of their daily lives, even if it is only for an hour or so.  Part of providing that unique experience is ensuring that their facility is not only welcoming, but spotless and sanitary as well.  Stop in YESTERcades any day during the week and tell them you saw it on Macaroni Kid.
