They realized the importance of surrounding themselves with like-minded individuals that can raise you up, support, and challenge you to be the best version of yourself. Take Me Out to the 5K

Take Me Out To The 5k is an family event for all. It allows individuals and families to conquer both physical and mental milestones all while supporting a prominent cause. Take Me Out to the 5K is a stroller friendly race. The Rookie Run is open to children walking age to 12 years old. In addition to their participation in the Rookie Run, all registered rookies are invited to accompany their registered parent/guardian on their Minor League 1 mile walk/run.The race will feature a Major League 5k timed run, Minor League 1 mile walk, and a 200 yard Rookie Run for the kids. All race options will take place on the stadium property with a finishers zone on the field. Runners will receive a complimentary t-shirt and the “rookies” a commemorative item. Upon completion of their events, runners are invited to spend the afternoon at the stadium. Stadium food and alcohol concessions will be open for purchase. A vendor expo will be held throughout the stadium highlighting various local businesses. In addition, kids will enjoy complimentary access to the kids corner, including a bounce house area, boardwalk games, face painting, a visit with Buster, the stadium mascot, a book reading by a local author, and more! Registration will be supporting a local non-profit. Brave Beginnings Inc., a leading play-based therapy outreach program, serving toddlers diagnosed with Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy,speech apraxia, behavioral concerns and other developmental delays in Monmouth County. Take Me Out to the 5K will help fund the volunteer based non-profit, providing more resources to children in need.
