Gymboree Play & Music, 26 Applegate Street, of Red Bank has been teaching moms and children since 1985. We are a world renowned program with nationwide and international locations. Our programs are developed for children newborn-5 yrs to help them develop social skills, build self-confidence, self-esteem, build the key social, emotional and intellectual skills needed for school and life with specially designed school skills classes for preschool children ages 3-5.
Gymboree Play & Music of Red Bank offers classes for children newborn-5 years. We offer our Play & Learn classes, Art classes, Music classes, Family classes and our School Skills Classes. Activities help develop confidence, curiosity, communication, perseverance and cooperation, giving your child a solid foundation for future learning environments. Also, on March 3rd, we are beginning some NEW classes at Gymboree: (1) Family Gym for Levels 3-6 that is ideal for parents who want to bring one or more child together to a regular class. (2) A 2-3 year old and Pre-Steps class that gives the option for a 45 minute class or an extended 75 minute class with some parent separation.
Here's some highlight details about our Play & Learn Classes which are broken into smaller age groups by creating Levels 1-6.
Level 1, for ages up to 6 months, explores the senses and supports visual and auditory development with tummy time, flashlight play, first songs and more. This baby class includes parent discussion time to help learn about your child's development.
Level 2, for 6 to 10 months old, helps your child learn about cause and effect and build strength through play with ramps, slides and climbers. This baby class includes parent discussion time to help learn about your child's development.
Level 3, for 10 to 16 months old, enables you to explore two-way communication with your child. Play environments encourage discovery, balance and coordination as parents learn to understand how their infant interacts and communicates with them and the world.
Level 4, for 16 to 22 months old, helps your child figure out how the world works and become a competent problem solver through games that uncover patterns and sequences. This class is suitable for toddlers.
Level 5, for 22 to 28 months old, stretches the imagination through creative play to support symbolic thinking, language development and social interaction. This class is suitable for toddlers.
Level 6, for 28 to 36 months old, allows your child to play both independently and with peers while learning to connect ideas through cooperation and communication. This class is suitable for toddlers.

Our Gymboree Birthday Party Includes "Gymbo the Clown" birthday party invitations, exclusive use of our Gymboree room and equipment, set-up and clean up assistance, guided and open play for one and a half or two hours, including Welcome Song, play time on our specially built equipment, bubble time, and parachute time, all tailored towards your children's favorites.
